PARISH OFFICE  hours Mondays 8:00-12:00; Wednesdays 8:00-12:00 and Thursday 8:00-12:00.  Office hours may vary due to things that may come up.

 THE CHURCH due to increased activities around the church and surrounding area. The church will be locked at all times, except for Sundays and during office hours, which are listed above.

SUNDAY JULY 28 - We will have a Congregational meeting after worship to go over our decision on what will be done with the parsonage. Everyone should have received two letters from council president Nancy Page. Any questions you may talk to a council member or email your concerns to the church.

PASTOR PAUL KAMPA has agreed to take on being our Interim Pastor here at Emmanuel. He will be with us one Sunday a month. Pastor Kampa will visit shut-ins, and if they would like will give them Holy communion. If you would need to reach Pastor Kampa he maybe reached at 570-966-3399.

NEXT COFFEE/COOKIIE SOCIAL will be September 1st.

2024 PRODUCE VOUCHER APPLICATION: The program provides five/$10.00 checks for a total benefit of $50.00 in free produce vouchers to residents 60 years of age and older (or turn 60 by 12/31/24). Please fully complete the Voucher application and sign it. Return the completed application to Union-Snyder Agency of Aging by mailing to :Union-Snyder Agency on Aging, 116 N Second St, Lewisburg, PA 17837. Vouchers will be mailed to you once the application is processed. Applications must be received in our office by September 24, 2024. Vouchers cannot be used before June 1 or after November 30, 2024. The vouchers are provided once per year. 

HELP NEEDED--SNYDER COUNTY CHILDREN AND YOUTH SERVICES  are preparing for their 15th annual Back to School Fair". Our goal is to provide back packs filled with school supplies to local children in need with the help of supporters like you. The fair will be held from 1:00 to 5:30pm, on Wednesday, August 7th, 2024. I the community room of Snyder County East Services building, 713 Bridge St, Selinsgrove Pa. Pre-registration is required to assure we have enough for all children. A box will be placed in the social hall for members who may chose to purchase items. Deadline is Thursday July 25th. LIST OF ITEMS are : Backpacks, Pencil Pouches (3 ring binder style). scissors, Pocket folders (with clasps inside), Vinyl folders, Colored pencils, Notebooks (single subject), Composition notebooks; Calculator (T1 - 30XIIs), Pencil boxes, Glue bottles, Construction paper, Tissue packs, Highlighters, Washable markers, Pens (blue and black ink) and 3/4 binders.


OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES - We will again pack shoeboxes for boys and girls around the world who are less fortunate than others. We will again start collecting items beginning in January. Our June  collection is WOW items, Boxes will be left on the stage, for each month's gifts of donations. January was  hats, mittens, scarves. February fashion accessories i.e. sunglasses, hair bows, friendship bracelets, wrist watches, bandanas, etc. March craft kits, bead kits. April stuffed animals. May Hygiene items, we do not need toothbrushes. Boxes will be placed on stage in the social hall for each month's gifts.

 COMMUNION TO SHUT-IN MEMBERS - Some members of the congregation have received training to bring communion to shut-in members. This important ministry of hospitality and connection will help to bring the message of God's grace to those who can no longer attend worship. If you or someone you know would like to receive the sacrament of the Lord's Supper, please contact the church office so that you or they can be added to the schedule of visitations. However for the time being Visitations are being seen to by  Pastor Kampa. If you have anyone to add please let Cindy or Pastor Kampa know.
