CAMP MOUNT LUTHER ALUMNI WORK DAYS: Join us for the first alumni work weekend- May 17th-19th. We invite alumni of all ages to bring their family and join us for the day or for the whole weekend. Our goal is to help prepare camp for the summer season, serving and worshipping together in (what once was) our summer home! This weekend will intersect with our traditional work-day on Saturday as well. Stay in a cabin for the weekend or come for the day Saturday, and help make this a new tradition. Together we'll help build the foundation for a strong future at CML! To register, click https://forms,gle/sETPBPMCt8McVPbo7

Please gather round your unwanted items you no longer need and place on the stage. We also will need volunteers to help set up, work the sale and box leftovers back up for the Fall Yard sale. Don't forget to make your delicious bake goods too! Any questions please see Pamela Shaffer.
WE WILL ONCE AGAIN try a Coffee/Cookie Social gathering after the worship service next Sunday. May 5th. Council will also have a Walk-Through of the parsonage following the Social, to decide what we as council and members of Emmanuel would like to see done with the property. We would like all members of Emmanuel to plan to attend as we will walk through the parsonage and have you as members give your input/feedback on what should be done. Options possible are to sell it, tear it down or put money into it to fix it up and rent it out as an asset down the road for the church. We hope everyone can be present on Sunday, May 5th.
MOTHER/DAUGHTER Banquet will be held on Monday evening, May 20. Cost will be $10.00.
MISSIONARY VISIT IN 2024: Pastor Brian Palmer will be with us May 31 through July 7. He will be attending our Synod assembly and will be visiting our church on Sunday June 23. He will be the speaker at our church service along with the Sunday school class. We will have a luncheon afterward. He will also need a vehicle to travel our territory for the month. If you happen to have an extra vehicle for his use, please contact Ann Zimmerman at 570-492-4153.
